AMA-Con was a HUGE Success!

I think I am still in shock.
The turn out was amazing for a first year con, everything ran smooth and it was a great time all together!
If there was ever a city possibly hungry for a convention like this I don't think any others in TX better fit the bill. If there is an AMA-Con 2, I will definitely be returning if I can!

I will be hosting a panel about Steampunk Inspiration and in the panel I will basically be talking about places to research design and costumes ideas when trying to develop your steamy styles. This can range from jewelry to weapons to costumes.

Cracked Monocle Kickstarter Victory Dance

January 4, 2012 our Kickstarter for Tephra-The steampunk RPG opened, we held our breath and didn't even bother to look at the numbers until we suddenly got an email, "Congratulations you have broken your goal!" Woah, wait, what? It had been less than ten hours since we launched the Kickstarter, and already we were above and beyond our target.

The numbers kept going up and up as word spread of our project, and by the end we raised nearly twenty three times our target goal all thanks to an amazing community. So to reward them, we let them name any song of their choice, and we would make a music video for it. Of course they chose I'm Sexy and I Know It, by LMFAO... So here it is, with our own flair, Enjoy.

Meet My Mouse: Penny the Gear Mouse

Once I had Rusty and Time by my side it didn't take long to track down Penny. She is a quiet but busy little thing. Always skittering from one place to the next in search of her next great find to add to her little collection. She's not picky about her food and she's very brave around Time the klockwerk kitten. Penny and Rusty really like exploring together too.

She is a native Texan from an abandoned warehouse in Amarillo. (I think she kind of misses home a bit but she does enjoy being around all the new things here in Austin.) She doesn't really seem to have a favorite item, pretty much anything new becomes her favorite. At the time she took a great interest in my camera...
